LYFYE ("we," "us," or "our") operates the LYFYE Readers mobile application and the lyfye.com website (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you or your child uses our Services.

1. Our Commitment to Children's Privacy

LYFYE Readers is built with child safety as a foundational principle. We collect no personal information from children. The App is designed to function entirely with data stored locally on the user's device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information from children or their parents.

We do not:

2.1 LYFYE Readers (Mobile App)

The App stores the following information locally on the user's device to provide core functionality. This data is never transmitted to LYFYE servers or any third party:

2.3 lyfye.com Website

When you visit lyfye.com, we may collect standard web analytics data including device information, browser type, pages visited, and referral source. This data is used to improve the website experience and is not linked to any child user of LYFYE Readers.

2.4 In-App Purchases

LYFYE Readers offers a premium subscription for access to additional stories and content. All purchase transactions are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. LYFYE does not collect, process, or store any payment information, including credit card numbers, billing addresses, or financial account details. 3. Third-Party Services

LYFYE Readers uses the following third-party services solely for app distribution and purchase processing:

• Apple App Store: App distribution and subscription management on iOS. Apple handles purchases independently.
• Google Play Store: App distribution and subscription management on Android. Google handles purchases independently.

LYFYE Readers does not integrate any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, social media SDKs, or data brokers.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Because all LYFYE Readers App data is stored locally on the user's device:

• Uninstalling LYFYE Readers removes all locally stored data from the device
• There is no server-side data to request or delete
• Parents can reset the App's data at any time through device settings

For data collected through lyfye.com (website analytics), we retain information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. You may request deletion by contacting us at the email below.

5. Parental Rights Under COPPA

As a parent or guardian, you have the right to:

• Review any information collected from your child. Because LYFYE Readers currently stores data only on the device, all information is accessible directly on the device where the App is installed.
• Delete your child's data by uninstalling the App or clearing App data through your device settings.
• Refuse further collection. Because LYFYE Readers does not currently collect personal information, no ongoing collection occurs. If this changes in a future update, we will obtain verifiable parental consent before any personal information is collected from a child.

6. Data Security

We take the security of your information seriously. For LYFYE Readers, the primary security boundary is the user's device because no data is transmitted externally. We recommend keeping your device operating system updated, using a device passcode or biometric lock, and monitoring your child's app usage.

7. Changes to Data Practices in Future Updates

If we introduce features that change our data practices (such as parent account creation, cloud-based progress syncing, push notifications, or usage analytics), we will:

• Update this Privacy Policy before any new data collection begins
• Obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting any personal information from children
• Notify existing users through in-app notification and App Store update notes

8. International Users

LYFYE is based in the United States. If you access our Services from outside the United States, please be aware that your use is governed by United States law, including COPPA. Because LYFYE Readers does not currently collect or transmit personal data, no cross-border data transfer occurs.

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). Because LYFYE Readers does not currently collect personal information, these rights are not implicated at this time.
